Sciatic Nerve Block Ultrasound Training Model

This CAE Blue Phantom single leg model is ideal for learning image acquisition and interpretation, and practicing the psychomotor skills necessary for ultrasound guided sciatic nerve block procedures. This model contains two patented Simulex tissue inserts, one in the superior sciatic position and one in the inferior sciatic position. This allows users to learn ultrasound system controls, positioning and moving the transducer, recognizing the sciatic nerves and injecting simulated anesthetics in the model. Fluids are automatically expelled for repeated use. The Simulex tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle.
