American Teledyne HPM 4/5/6 Portable Digital Vacuum Gauge

The American Teledyne HPM 4/5/6 portable digital vacuum gauge features a high-precision A/D and microprocessor output signal converter for measuring thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes. The microprocessor will measure the pressure reading in relation to the explicit output pressure of the regulator. The result is a display that uses bright, easy-to-use Pathfinder graphics. HPM 4/5/6 is compatible with the popular triplex family of regulators and DV-6, DV-5, DV-4. These tubes utilize a flexible yet sensitive precious metal thermocouple that is designed to fit interchangeably with each range tube without the need for calibration adjustments. They are designed to compensate for temperature and temperature change rates and are corrosion resistant.

The portable digital vacuum gauge M406340 is a new portable digital vacuum gauge launched by Edyne Hastings Instruments in the United States in 2014. It will replace the past HPM 4/6 digital vacuum gauge. Compared with the original HPM 4/6 digital vacuum gauge, the portable digital vacuum gauge M406340 has the following features:
1). The control switch, range and unit are all on the panel. The upper one is the switch button, the middle one is the range button, and the lower one is the unit button.
2). Press the switch button once to turn on the vacuum gauge, and press the switch button again to turn off the vacuum gauge;
3). Power-on display: →DV-6 (or DV-4 or DV-5) 999 OVER RANGE (indicates that the vacuum gauge measuring range is exceeded or no vacuum is connected; if 000 UNDER RANGE is displayed, it indicates that the vacuum gauge is smaller than the measuring range )
Battery level icon and vacuum unit (Pa or mTorr or mbar or цbar)
4). The middle range button has three ranges: DV-4, DV-5 and DV-6. Press this button to display DV-4, DV-5 and DV-6 in sequence; DV-4 corresponds to the range 0.01-20.0 Torr, DV-5 corresponds to 0.0001-0.1Torr, DV-6 corresponds to 0.001-1.0Torr, generally low-temperature storage tanks and low-temperature tank trucks use DV-6;
5). The following are measurement units. There are four measurement units to choose from: Torr, mbar, цbar and Pa. Generally, Chinese users prefer to use Pa.
6). Each time it is turned on, the range and unit displayed before it was turned off last time will be displayed;
7). The calibration of the vacuum gauge is also completed through the buttons on the panel (generally, there must be corresponding calibration regulations before calibration, and it has been calibrated before leaving the factory);
8). There is a rubber sleeve on the outside of the vacuum gauge, which can effectively protect the vacuum gauge;
9). There is a diagonal support on the back of the vacuum gauge, which can be easily placed on a flat surface for easy reading;
10). HPM 4/5/6 uses 9vdc alkaline batteries with an operating temperature of 20°C; if the operating temperature is much lower than 20°C and the power-on time is long, the battery life will be shortened. The operating temperature of alkaline batteries is -18℃-55℃.
11). When not measuring, you should try to shut down the machine to extend the battery life; however, it will automatically shut down after about 5 minutes of being turned on to extend the battery life;
12). Several useful unit conversions: 1Torr=1000mTorr; 1Torr=133.33pa; /1Pa=7.5 mTorr; /1mTorr=0.133Pa; /1 Bar=1000 mbar; /1цbar=0.1Pa.
13). Static indicators for the vacuum degree of cryogenic storage tanks and cryogenic tank trucks (national standard):
The effective volume is 2Pa if it is less than 10m3;
The effective volume is 3Pa for 10-50m3;
The effective volume of 50-100m3 is 5Pa;
The effective volume is 8Pa when it is greater than 100m3.
14). If you are pulling out the vacuum gauge tube, do not pull the cable, but gently pull the vacuum gauge socket. The vacuum gauge should be returned to the black packaging box promptly after use. Be careful not to be exposed to moisture, strong light, or exposure to dust. At the same time, you should also be careful to prevent severe vibration (such as not falling to the ground from a high place).
