Fast Sampling and Long Memory provide unmatched insight
The 7000 Series Digital Oscilloscope incorporates a category leading 10GSa/sec max sample rate with up to 500M Record Length. 10GSa/sec sampling provides up to 20X oversampling on a 500MHz signal insuring the most accurate capture and display of today’s rapidly changing signals. With up to 1/2 Billion points of memory you need not compromise sample rate when acquiring a long duration signal.
10GSa/sec Sample Rate provides unmatched resolution
High Sample Rate enables you to see signal detail and fine resolution not available in instruments with lower sample rates. This video shows the power of 20X oversampling to capture signal details other instruments can’t.
500M Record length allows long captures without sacrificing signal detail
Having Long Record Length capability allows you to take long acquisitions without compromising sampling/signal quality. In the attached video we provide an example of the power of a 500M capture at 10GSa/sec. When combined with Zoom Mode and other analysis tools the DS7000 provides unmatched debug capabilities.
How long a time capture can I make with the 7000 Series?
This graphic shows the 7000 Series’ max time capture in 1 channel mode.

The 7000 Series is capable of 20X oversampling on a 500 MHz signal for a full 50 milliseconds.

For longer time captures the 7000 Series can capture 5X oversampling at 500MHz for up to 200 ms.

Across all time settings, the combination of deep memory and high sampling in the 7000 Series gives you more flexibility in observing and analyzing high-speed signal anomalies.
Intuitive Navigation Tools simplify long record length analysis
The 7000 Series Digital Oscilloscope allows engineers to capture longer, higher resolution acquisitions then ever before. But to make this data useful requires search and navigation tools to help you move through the record and find areas of interest.

The DS7000 provides:
Zoom Mode – Quickly visualize the entire record and easily zoom into details at the same time.
Search and Mark – Find all matching instances of a trigger event across the entire capture. Quickly move between events using the Mark Table or via front panel controls.
Record Mode – Allows you to isolate only signals of interest, capture, store and analyze up to 450,000 trigger events and and sequentially view these events over time.
Search and Mark
RIGOL’s digital triggering technology makes it possible to find all matching events for 7 common trigger types within a seamless data set. This video explores how to capture, navigate, and quickly identify signals of interest using our search and mark capability.
Record Mode
Capture & Compare up to 450,000 trigger events then sequentially play those events back utilizing intuitive controls.

Combine Record Mode with our powerful Zone trigger to isolate only signals of interest for recording and reducing your time to identify and debug system anomalies.

This video shows how to capture only events of interest then playback hours or days of events like a movie.
Zoom Mode
With the push of a single button you can present the entire acquisition on screen. This split screen view lets you look at fine details while maintaining a view of where you are in the record. Quickly scroll through the record, see patterns, and easily drill into details.
